The Stash Buster Challenge where Pam’s crocheted bags won for most stash used proved to be an inspiration for several other members of the guild. It seemed we all had yarn that had been sitting on the shelf for too many years and using it up to crochet bags big and small seemed like the perfect solution.
Here are a few examples of some of the other bags.
A recent visitor, Susan Zougas, to our April meeting showed off one of her bags. While it was not crocheted with stash yarn she showed how a handwoven piece could be used as an insert in a bag. If you want to see more of Susan’s bags check out her Instagram site Handmade by Adagiolo.
